01 / Who we are
Anton Clarke Ltd is responsible for personal information handled through this website and in connection with design enquiries. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 10453545.
Registered office: C/O Aardvark Accounting, 1 Cedar Office Park, Cobham Road, Wimborne, BH21 7SB. Our creative studio operates in Bournemouth, Dorset.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email studio@antonclarke.co.uk or write to the registered office.
02 / What we collect
If you contact us by email, telephone or the contact form, we may receive your name, email address, message and other information you choose to provide. If we work together, further contact, project and invoicing details may be needed.
The website hosting provider may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website.
Please avoid including sensitive or confidential personal details in a first enquiry.
03 / How and why we use it
We use information to answer enquiries, discuss projects, prepare quotations, manage design work and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not use contact-form enquiries to send unsolicited marketing newsletters.
Our lawful bases are steps requested before a contract / performance of a contract where applicable; legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts and operating a secure website; and legal obligation for records we must keep.
We do not use enquiry data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
04 / The contact form
The website contact form collects your name, email address and message. It currently submits those details to FormSubmit.co, which processes the form and forwards the enquiry to our studio email inbox. Anti-spam protection may process technical information about a submission.
This is a third-party service, rather than a form hosted entirely on our website. Its current published privacy information is available here. When you submit, you may be transferred to its website or anti-spam service, which may have its own cookies or similar technologies.
You can avoid the form service by emailing studio@antonclarke.co.uk directly.
05 / Sharing & international transfers
Information may be handled by service providers needed to operate the website, deliver contact messages, provide email, support IT systems or manage accounting. We share only what is reasonably needed for those functions, or when required by law.
Some providers or their sub-processors may be located outside the UK. Where transfers are subject to UK data protection rules, appropriate legal safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism must apply. Please contact us if you would like further information about the recipients of your information and safeguards for international transfers.
06 / How long we keep information
We keep personal data only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. As a working approach, general enquiries that do not lead to a project are reviewed and normally deleted within 12 months after our last meaningful contact, unless there is a continuing legitimate need.
If we work together, relevant project, correspondence and financial records may be retained longer where necessary to deliver services, deal with queries or comply with legal and accounting duties. Any records required by tax law are kept for the applicable statutory period.
07 / Cookies & tracking
This website is designed to run without advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Its own scripts do not intentionally set cookies or use local/session storage to track visitors. As a result, the brochure pages do not currently ask for cookie consent.
Web hosting can involve technical and security logs or strictly necessary cookies depending on the final setup. Third-party sites you visit from our website, including FormSubmit if you send a message, are responsible for explaining their own technologies.
If we introduce non-exempt cookies or other storage/access tracking in future, we will explain their purposes and obtain consent where UK law requires it.
08 / Your rights & complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, or to data portability. You can contact us at studio@antonclarke.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
If you are unhappy with how we handle a concern, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
09 / Updates
We may update this notice if our website services, suppliers or data-handling practices change. The date at the top shows when we last reviewed it.
